March Class: Charity Begins at home
Guilt Free Scrapbooking is our monthly class dedicated to giving you ideas on how to use up your stash of scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies! Each month Dawn will give you tonnes of ideas on how you can feel 'Guilt Free' about the supplies you've collected by using them up on some fabulous projects.
The theme for our March Class is 'Charity begins at home'. Worldwide there must be thousands of charities begging us for donations. But here in Australia the need is also great, and as the saying goes ... charity begins at home. In this class we are going to look at a new way of viewing that old saying, because you can make a contribution to many charities from your own home ... specifically from your scrapbooking stash.
The project for this class will be 6x6 mini layouts that will be donated to Southern Cross Kids Camps at the conclusion of the class. Dawn's generous friends at Brandcorp have donated all the product we'll need to create the layouts (or feel free to bring along your own stash of supplies). Dawn will be featuring a watercolour technique to breathe new life into stamped or printed images, and Brandcorp have also generously donated watercolour pencils for use in class. So come along and join in the fun, learn a new technique and donate some of your time and finished projects to a fabulous cause!
